Luciano Moggi, interviewed on the television program ‘Ieri, Moggi, e domani', broadcast on GOLD TV, returned to express his point of view on the process in Napoli. “Who said ‘Put Collina’ in the telephone call between Bergamo and Facchetti could have been an important thing a few months ago, when all the new wiretappings on Inter were still not discovered. But now it has been proven that Inter was speaking with the world of referee’s frequently. There are unequivocal wiretaps in this regard and very serious things, even directed at the referees, like those of the 4-4-4 or the one where Bertini explains the embarrassment suffered by the pressure he underwent during a visit from Facchetti before the match. The real scandal is that these wiretaps have come out just now.”

Moggi also dwells on Inter’s victory in Sardinia and the support given to the Nerazzurri by Samuel Eto’o, contradicting the current explanations by Benitez and Moratti: “To win at Cagliari is always difficult and it was actually Julio Cesar who was decisive in most circumstances. These, however, are the games that make the difference in a championship, when you win without enthusiasm. At this moment, Inter are Eto’o dependent. The team is still very competitive, but the hunger for victory is not like it was in past years.”
