The possibility of seeing Wesley Sneijder sign a new contract is getting more likely day after day, Although his current one is going to end only in 2014. Both sides have appeared positive regarding the matter in the recent past, and according to the latest rumors the turn might happen as soon as next week with a meeting being planned between Massimo Moratti and the Dutchman. Unlike some people would like to believe, there seems to be no difficulty ahead: it is just a matter of time. In fact Wesley has been extremely busy between Inter and national team, limiting the time he could dedicate to this issue. Next week, though, seems the right one for a meeting and the official announcement should not take much longer to be delivered in case of a positive result to the deals. Inter wants to bind itself to Sneijder just as much as he wants to bind his future to Inter: this is the only certainy there is.

It is therefore fair to consider Manchester United's and Real Madrid's as mere dreams, for a few years closer to utopia than reality.
